Here at Sawston, we have a desire for our clients and friends to consider their legacy. We often ask:

What will your legacy be?

Our focus is typically on the financial aspects of things, but today we want to embrace our family’s Thanksgiving traditions. Colleen and I are sharing our favorite Thanksgiving dishes and we invite you to enjoy these Sawston Sides!

Colleen’s Orange Sherbert Delight


1 quart Orange Sherbet

2 cans Pineapple Chunks (or fresh makes it even better)

2 cans Mandarin Oranges

1 cup Shredded Coconut

1 cup (or a little more) miniature marshmallows


Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Pour into your favorite serving dish and freeze until about 15 minutes before you serve. You’ll want it softened a bit!


Stacey’s Mac-n-Cheese

1 cup mayonnaise

1 cup sour cream

2 cups Mozzarella Cheese

2 cups Sharp Cheddar

1 3/4 cups uncooked noodles (cook noodles as directed)

Salt and Pepper to taste

First, preheat your oven to 325°. Second, grab a bowl and mix mayo, sour cream, cheese, salt, and pepper together. Be sure to stir these ingredients well. Third, you will fold in cooked noodles. Now you put in a 9×13 baking dish. Bake for 30 minutes or until cheese is melted. The last step is to eat the best mac-n-cheese you have ever tasted!
